Science VS The Bible - Creation & Shape of the Earth

All praise and glory to Yahuah (LORD) for His sustaining energy as we prepared this document. And thanks to the Holy Spirit for leading us into His truth during this research process that started almost exactly 1 year ago! There is much more we could say about this topic, but Yah (Lord) has put it on our hearts to specifically look at Scripture VS science! 

We must start by saying, we are not anti-science. We believe in the scientific method - the process of experimentation, observation, replication, comparison, and deduction. The problem is when science settles, religion forms. What we are comparing in this article is the settled religion of science - which has convinced the mass population what to believe by using big words, celebrity influence, and silencing of counter-opinions. 

We believe Scripture was inspired by God for all people to read and apply to their lives. In this article we have brought only the clearest literal Scriptural arguments to the table to remain “above reproach”. We even took the time to go into the Hebrew and Greek origins for the Scriptures we have chosen to confirm their validity! 

 Romans 1:20 says that we can get to know the Creator through the things that He made…

“For ever since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through His workmanship [all His creation, the wonderful things that He has made], so that they [who fail to believe and trust in Him] are without excuse and without defense.” - ‭‭Romans‬ ‭1:20‬ ‭AMP‬‬

 If God is the Creator and we can get to know the Creator through creation, shouldn’t we study what that creation is according to His Word? Of course! How else can we accurately teach God's truth to our children? 

This article is intended to show the obvious contradictions between modern scientific belief and God’s eternal INSPIRED Word.

 We are so grateful that Yahuah (LORD) led you here, and we hope and pray this study takes you deeper in your relationship with our Creator.

To start things off, we should take a look at what science says about the Bible and the existence of God. 

 Science says:

“The Bible is historical fiction, with a very strong lean towards the fiction side.”

 “If the secular view (our view) of the Bible is correct, then millions of Bible-believers and churchgoers are wasting much time, money, and energy. Humanity’s condition could be greatly improved if those resources were used for solving the world’s problems instead of worshiping a nonexistent God.”

“Not only was the Bible taken largely and blatantly from previous mythological stories, but there are contradictions so massive that they defy belief. God is imaginary, created by humans. The blatant reproductions, inconsistencies, and immoral teachings of the Bible to show that the Bible is false, and was written by man. God is not at fault here; there is no reason to believe anything like God exists at all. We simply made it all up because 1) we are afraid of death and, 2) we can use such beliefs to control people.”

Here’s what the Bible says:

 “All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.” - ‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭NLT‬‬

 “For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.” - ‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭4:3-4‬ ‭ESV‬‬

 Now let’s dive into the 258 verses that disprove modern science and the globe theory! 

IN THE BEGINNING

Science says:

The universe was born with the Big Bang - the moment 13.8 billion years ago when the universe began as a tiny, dense, fireball that exploded. The matter that spread out from the Big Bang developed into everything in the universe, including every living thing. As the cosmos expanded and cooled, it spawned galaxies, stars, planets and life. 

 Earth formed 4.6 billion years ago when gravity pulled swirling gas and dust in to become the third planet from the Sun. 

 There is no need for a creator to explain the existence of the universe. 

The Bible says: The Word of God (Yahusha/Jesus) formed the heavens and the earth and made everything in them. 

Hebrews 11:3 - the universe was created by the Word of God, so what is seen was not created out of things visible (dust, explosions, fireballs, chaos) 

2 Peter 3:5 - the earth was formed out of water and through water by the Word of God

Col 1:16 - By Him all things were created in heaven and earth, visible and invisible… ALL things

Isaiah 48:13 - “My hand laid the foundation of the earth, My right hand spread out the heavens” 

Nehemiah 9:6 - The Lord has made Heaven, its hosts, the earth, the seas and all that are in them

Genesis 2:19 - God formed every beast and every bird

Exodus 20:11 -  In 6 days the Lord created the heavens and the earth and everything in them

Psalm 33:6 - By the Word of the Lord the heavens were made, And by the breath of His mouth all their hosts

HOW WERE HUMANS CREATED?

 Science says: 

Human evolution is the lengthy process of change by which people originated from apelike ancestors. Scientific evidence shows that the physical and behavioral traits shared by all people originated from those apelike ancestors and evolved over a period of approximately six million years.

The Bible says: Humans were created by the Word of God from the dust of the earth and given life by His breath. Instantly.

 John 1:1 - “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God”

Genesis 1:27 “So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them.” 

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭2:7‬ “Then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature.”

Psalm 139:13 - God knit me together in my mother’s womb 

Jeremiah 1:5 - Before God formed us in the womb, He knew us

Acts 17:26 - all mankind came from Adam 

THE FIRMAMENT

 Science says: 

 ‘Outer space’ begins 62 miles above the earth.

In 2013 a new boundary layer was found roughly 7,200 miles above Earth’s surface. This extremely abrupt invisible barrier blocks "killer electrons" (electrons are subatomic particles, which are a type of matter) which travel at more than 100,000 miles per second (291.5x the speed of sound). These electrons degrade technology, threaten astronauts, & fry satellites. Luckily, these killer electrons are kept from descending upon earth by the newly discovered barrier.

 The Bible says: God created the firmament on day 2. It is the floor of God’s throne room, and it’s where He set the sun, moon, and stars. The Bible does not say how far away it is.

 Hebrew word: “rāqîaʿ” - extended solid surface, vault of Heaven supporting waters above, expanse

 Genesis 1:6-7 - On day 2, God created a   rāqîaʿ(firmament/dome/vault) that separated the water, so then there was water above the firmament and water below the firmament (our oceans, rivers, etc.)

Revelation 4:6 - Before God’s throne is a sea of glass

Job 37:18 - the skies are cast out strong as a hard molten mirror

Ezekiel 1:22 - “the firmament was like an amazing [ice] crystal, stretched over their heads above” (taken from the original Hebrew)

Exodus 24:10 - They saw the God of Israel and under His feet was a pavement/tile substance like sapphire (blue stone) clearly with the substance of Heaven 

Ezekiel 1:25 - a voice from the firmament that was over their heads

Ezekiel 1:26 - above the firmament over their heads was a throne, with the likeness of a man on the throne 

Zechariah 12:1 - He stretched out the heavens [like a tent]

Amos 9:6 - He builds His upper chambers in the heavens and establishes His vault (firmament) upon the earth 

Psalm 19:1 - the firmament declares the works of His hands

Daniel 19:3 - they that are wise will shine like the brightness of the firmament

THE SUN 

Science says: 

9 billion years after the Big Bang, our solar system was born. The sun formed when a cloud of dust and gas called a nebula collapsed under its own gravity. 

 The sun is 93,000,000 miles away from planet earth. It is one of countless stars, a hot ball of gases. It’s gravity holds the entire solar system together, and without it the planets and stars would collide. 

 Without the sun's energy (light), there would be no life on earth. 

 The sun comprises 99.8% of the solar system’s mass

All planets in the solar system revolve around the sun, which is named after the mythological Greek god Helios (Heliocentrism: sun as the center of the solar system).

The Bible says: God created the sun after the earth on day 4 (so how can the earth be orbiting around it?) and set the sun in the firmament. It is close, and it is NOT a star. It MOVES above earth on a God-given path to provide us light on earth. 

 

Genesis 1:15 - God created the sun on day 4 (AFTER the earth, so we can’t have a gravitational pull to it)

Genesis 1:14 - God said “let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens”

Genesis 1:17 - God set (not exploding or chaotically throwing) the lights of the heavens in the firmament to give light on earth 

Isaiah 13:10 - Individual lights: stars, sun, & moon

Psalm 19:4 - He set a tent for the sun (the firmament)

Joshua 10:12 - the sun STOPS moving and stands still so the Israelites can win the battle

Ecc 1:5 - the sun hastens to the place where it rises (the sun moves, the earth does not)

Psalm 19:4-5 - the sun comes out of his chamber like a bridegroom ready for a race 

 

THE MOON

 Science says: 

What is most widely accepted today is the giant-impact theory: While the Earth was in its earliest stage (Early Earth), a giant impact collision with a planet-sized body named Theia formed the Moon. In Greek mythology, Theia is the mother of Helios (sun) and Selene (moon).

 The Moon gets its light from the Sun. The Moon reflects the Sun's light, making it appear bright in our sky.

 The Moon is 238,855 miles from planet earth.

The Bible says: God created the moon on day 4 and set it in the firmament. It has its OWN light, and was created to give us light at night. 

 Genesis 1:16 - “God created TWO great lights, one to rule the day and one to rule the night”

Genesis 1:17 - God set the moon in the firmament to give light on earth 

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:41‬ - “There is a glory and beauty of the sun, another glory of the moon, and yet another distinctive glory of the stars; and one star differs from another in glory and brilliance.”

Isaiah 13:10 - the moon will stop shining

Isaiah 30:26 - the light of the moon

Isaiah 13:10 - Individual lights: stars, sun, & moon

Isaiah 60:19 - the moon will not give you light 

Jeremiah 31:35 - Sun’s light by day, moon and star’s lights by night 

Matthew 24:29 - the moon will not give its light

Mark 13:24 - the moon will not give its light, stars will fall from Heaven 

Acts 2:20 - moon has its own light because the sun will be dark 

Ezekiel 32:7 - Moon will not give its light

Revelation 21:23 - sun and moon are seperate lights 

PLANETS OR STARS?

 Science says: 

The various planets formed from a cloud of dust and gas left over from the sun's formation. 

 All the planets take up only .2% of all mass in the solar system, the rest belongs to the dominant sun.

The Bible says: Nothing about planets or other lights in the sky - ONLY sun, moon, and stars. What science calls “planets” are actually stars. So logically speaking - If there are no planets, then the earth cannot be a planet. (According to Revelation 9:1 and the Book of Enoch, some stars are actually angels)

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:41‬ - “There is a glory and beauty of the sun, another glory of the moon, and yet another distinctive glory of the stars; and one star differs from another in glory and brilliance.”

Genesis 1:17 - God set the stars in the firmament to give light to earth at night 

Psalm 147:4 - God knows the number of stars, and has given them each a name. 

Psalm 148:3 - “Praise him all you shining stars!”

Psalm 8:3 - “I look at the heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and stars you have set in place.”

Psalm 136:7-9 - sun, moon, stars; their individual lights

 

BALL OR CIRCLE?

 Science says: 

Gravity would pull the earth into the shape of a sphere, but because earth rotates on its axis, it bulges slightly - stopping it from being a perfect sphere. 

 It is possible that the universe itself has a more complicated shape overall while seeming to possess a different curvature. For instance, the universe could have the shape of a ring, or doughnut.

 The Bible says: The earth is a circle, not a ball/sphere. The heavens are stretched out over the earth like a tent. 

 The Hebrew word for circle: ḥûḡ - a flat circle like a coin. 

 Isaiah 40:22 “It is he who sits above the circle (flat like a coin) of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers; who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them like a tent to dwell in”

 Isaiah knew the difference between circle and ball, because a few chapters earlier he used a different Hebrew word for ball: see Isaiah 22:18)

The earth is the Lord’s footstool! 

Isaiah 66:1 - the Lord says “Heaven is my throne and the earth is my footstool”

Isaiah 51:13 - He stretched out the heavens and laid the foundation of the earth 

Acts 7:49 - Heaven is my throne, the earth is my footstool 

SPINNING THROUGH SPACE OR STATIONARY?

 Science says: 

“The surface of the earth moves at a speed of 1,000 mph. The earth spins around the sun at 66,000mph. As of January 8,2021, the earth is spinning faster than it ever has before! 

The Bible says: The Lord established the earth on a firm foundation of pillars and fastened it securely. The world/earth will NEVER be moved. It is NOT moving and certainly not spinning. (The only time the pillars will shake and tremble and the earth will “rock”, is on judgement day - during the Lord's wrath)

Hebrew word for ‘established’: qûm - fastened, firm, fixed securely

Hebrew word for ‘pillars’: māṣûq - molten support, columns

Isaiah 45:18 - The Lord established (fastened, firm, fixed securely) the earth 

1 Samuel 2:8 - “the pillars (molten support, columns) of the earth are the Lord’s and he set the world upon them”

Psalm 104:5 - He set the earth on its foundations so that it should NEVER be moved 

1 Chron 16:30 - the world is established, it will NEVER be moved 

Psalm 93:1 - the world is established and shall NEVER be moved 

Job 26:7 - the earth hangs on nothing, it is stable, secure, doesn’t “hang” because its on a firm foundation 

Job 38:4 - foundations of the earth 

Job 38:6 - on what are the foundations sunk

Proverbs 8:28 - God made the skies above firm, when the fountains and springs of the deep became fixed and strong

Proverbs 8:29 - God set boundaries for the sea, when he marked out the foundations of the earth 

Micah 6:2 - enduring foundations of the earth 

Isaiah 24:18 - windows of Heaven open, foundations tremble 

Isaiah 51:16 - establishing the heavens, laying the foundations of the earth

Psalm 102:25 - He laid the foundation of the earth, and the Heavens are the work of His hands 

Hebrews 1:10 “You, Lord, laid the foundations of the earth, the heavens are the work of your hands”. 

Psalm 96:10 - the world is established, it will NEVER be moved 

Job 9:6 - “Who shakes the earth and makes its pillars tremble?” 

 

CAN A GLOBE/SPHERE HAVE A” FACE”?

Science says: 

Faces are defined as the flat surfaces of an object. A sphere has no faces. It does have a curved surface, but no “faces”. A face must be flat. A curved surface is not a “face”.

 The Bible says: The earth and waters have a face. 

 Face of the Waters:

Genesis 1:2 - face of the deep, face of the water

Genesis 7:18 - the ark floated on the face of the waters

Job 26:10 - He has made a circle on the face of the waters

Proverbs 8:27 - God drew a circle on the face of the deep

Face of the Earth:

Acts 17:26 - man lives on the face of the earth, with boundaries of their dwelling place 

Zechariah 5:3 - face of the land 

Genesis 1:6 - face of the land 

Genesis 1:29 - face of the earth 

Genesis 6:7 - face of the land 

Genesis 8:8 - the face of the ground

Genesis 11:9 - face of the earth

Exodus 33:16 - face of the earth

Luke 21:35 - they that dwell on the face of the whole earth

Jeremiah 25:26 - face of the earth 

Jeremiah 28:16 - face of the earth 

Psalm 104:30 - face of the ground 

1 Kings 13:34 - face of the earth 

Numbers 12:3 - face of the earth 

4 CORNERS OF THE EARTH

 Science says:

A globe/sphere can’t have corners. 

 The Bible says: the earth has 4 corners and a cornerstone

Rev 7:1- Angels standing at the 4 corners of the earth, holding back the 4 winds so they don’t blow

Job 38:6 - cornerstone of the earth

Isaiah 11:12 - the Lord will gather the dispersed of Judah from the 4 corners of the earth 

Ezekiel 7:2 - 4 corners of the land 

Revelation 20:8 - Satan will come out to deceive the nations that are at the 4 corners of the earth

CREATION COMPLETE OR STILL EVOLVING?

 Science says: 

The universe has no bounds and will expand forever - although the expansion of the universe gradually slowed down as the matter in the universe pulled on itself via gravity. Then about 5 or 6 billion years after the Big Bang, a mysterious force now called dark energy began speeding up the expansion of the universe again, a phenomenon that continues today. 

 Climate change is placing environmental stressors on animals right now, therefore several species are evolving faster than ever before. Genetic studies have demonstrated that humans are also still evolving.

 The Bible says: Creation is complete, God finished his work, and on the 7th day He rested. 

 Hebrew for complete: kālâ - finished, brought to an end, fulfilled, accomplished

 Genesis 2:1 - the creation of the heavens, earth and hosts of Heaven were kālâ (complete)

Genesis 2:2 - God  FINISHED his work and rested on the 7th day

Hebrews 4:3 - God’s works have been finished since the creation of the world 

THE AFTERLIFE 

Science says: 

There are ten widely accepted and hypothesized theories of afterlife in the scientific community:

 *reliant upon the theory of evolution and the Big Bang 

           (Theory →  Prediction)

The Bible says: Yahusha (Jesus) is preparing a place for His Believers and will come to take us there. Everyone will be judged according to what they have done. The righteous have eternal life, but the cursed will burn in everlasting fire. 

 Greek word for Hell = ‘geenna’ meaning place of future eternal punishment and fire

 John 11:25 - belief in Yahusha/Jesus results in everlasting life 

Matthew 25:31-46 - judgement according to how we operated in life; righteous to eternal life, cursed ones to everlasting fire (hell)

John 5:29 - those who have done good will arise to live, those who have done evil will arise to condemnation.

2 Corinthians 5:10 - upon judgement, each will receive what is due to them, good or bad; according to what was done while inhabiting these earthen vessels

John 14:2-3 - Yahusha/Jesus is preparing a place for every one of His Believers in His Father’s domain and will come back to take us there

Matthew 10:28 - don’t be afraid of men, who can only destroy the body; fear Yah who can destroy the body AND the soul in hell 

Philippians 3:20 - our citizenship is in Heaven

Philippians 3:21 - we will become transfigured in eternity (transfigured = Greek ‘metamorphoō’ meaning changed into another form)

Hebrews 9:27 - people die one time before facing judgement

Philippians 1:21-23 - departing from this life brings us into the presence of Yahusha/Jesus

Revelation 20:11-15 - everyone will be judged according to what they have done. Evil, death, and those who followed them will be thrown into the lake of fire (hell)

2 Corinthians 5:1 - we have an eternal dwelling place with our Father in Heaven

2 Corinthians 5:8 - death brings us to The Lord's presence

WHERE IS SHEOL / HADES?

Science says: 

There is no scientific evidence for the existence of hell. Some have a view that hell could be in the center of the earth, while others propose that hell is located in outer space in a black hole. Hell may have a physical location in this universe, or it may be in an entirely different “dimension”, but it most likely doesn’t exist at all. 

The Bible says: Sheol is beneath the earth, a real physical place - not a different dimension. 

 Numbers 16:30-33 - the earth opened and swallowed them up alive down into Sheol. The earth closed over them and they perished. 

Revelation 5:13 - creatures under the earth

Job 26:5-6 - the dead are under the waters 

Isa 14:9-11 - Sheol below, down to Sheol

Isaiah 14:15 Sheol, the far reaches of the pit 

Rev 17:8 - the beast will RISE from the abyss/Sheol 

Ephesians 4:7-10 - Yahusha/Jesus descended into Sheol and then ascended above the heavens 

Amos 9:2 - dig down to Sheol, climb up to heaven 

Job 11:8 - what is higher than heaven? Deeper than Sheol? 

 

WHERE IS HEAVEN?

 Science says: 

Heaven is not a real place, or even a process or a supernatural event. It's something that happens in your brain as you die. The belief that Heaven or an afterlife awaits us is a "fairy story" for people afraid of death. There is nothing beyond the moment when the brain flickers for the final time. Heaven is not provable. 

 The Bible says: Heaven exists above us and it is CLOSE. God sits on His throne in Heaven. 

Genesis 11:4 - *Tower of Babel* “Let us build a tower that reaches into Heaven (why would they even try if it was light years away? It obviously seemed possible to them) And then the Lord came down to see their tower”. 

Deuteronomy 5:8 - Heaven above, earth below, water under the earth 

Deuteronomy 9:1 - great cities, fenced up to Heaven 

Deuteronomy 33:26 - God rides on the heavens and skies

Joshua 2:11 - God in heaven ABOVE and earth BELOW

2 Kings 1:10 - Fire came DOWN from heaven above

2 Kings 2:1 - took Elijah UP to Heaven 

2 Kings 2:11 - Elijah went up in a whirlwind to Heaven

Ecclesiastes  2:3 - under Heaven 

Isaiah 14:13 - Heaven is above the stars (impossible in the heliocentric model)

Psalm 33:13-14 - The Lord looks down from His throne in Heaven at the inhabitants of the earth 

Psalm 14:2 - The Lord looks DOWN from Heaven at the children of men 

Hebrews 12:25 - God speaks from Heaven 

Revelation 4:1 - “After this I looked, and behold, a door standing open in Heaven! And the first voice, which I had heard speaking to me like a trumpet, said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.”

Psalm 47:8 - God sits on His throne 

Psalm 57:5 - God’s throne is above the heavens

Psalm 57:11 - Gods glory above the heavens  

Ephesians 4:7-10 - Yahusha/Jesus descended into Sheol and then ascended above the heavens 

Luke 24:51 - Yahusha/Jesus carried UP into Heaven 

Isaiah 63:15 - the Lord looks down at us from Heaven

Acts 1:9&11 - Yahusha/Jesus lifted up and a thick cloud took Him out of their site. He will return the same way. (Are there clouds in space?) 

Mark 16:19 - Yahusha/Jesus taken up into Heaven and seated at the right hand of Abba Father

Matthew 26:64 - Son of Man coming on the clouds of Heaven 

Revelation 1:7 - every eye will see Yahusha/Jesus coming out of the clouds (How does that work on a globe?)

Daniel 7:13 - vision of the future Messiah coming down from the clouds 

1 Thessalonians 4:17 - believers are caught up with Yahusha/Jesus in the clouds, going up into Heaven

Luke 3:21 - Heaven opened and the Holy Spirit descended 

Matthew 5:34 - Heaven is the throne of God

Revelation 11:12 - they went up to Heaven in a cloud 

Psalm 97:9 - “You oh Lord are high above all the earth” 

Luke 9:54 - James and John want to call down fire from Heaven (doesn’t work with space)

Job 1:16 - the fire of God fell from Heaven 

Genesis 19:24 - Fire from the Lord out of Heaven 

Psalm 102:19 - the Lord looks down from Heaven to earth 

Isaiah 6:1 - God’s throne is high and lifted up, the train of his robe fills the temple

Nehemiah 9:15 - bread from Heaven 

1 Thessalonians 4:16 - the Lord himself will descend from Heaven

WHERE DOES RAIN & HAIL COME FROM?

 Science says: 

Clouds are made of water droplets. Within a cloud, water droplets condense onto one another, causing the droplets to grow. When these water droplets get too heavy to stay suspended in the cloud, they fall to Earth as rain. 

 Hailstones are formed when raindrops are carried upward by thunderstorm updrafts into extremely cold areas of the atmosphere and freeze. Hailstones then grow by colliding with liquid water drops that freeze onto the hailstone's surface.

The Bible says: God opens the windows of Heaven and rain pours out (the Book of Enoch goes into immense depth about all weather). There is no rain because man has sinned against God. 

Genesis 7:11 - windows of Heaven opened and rains fell out 

1 Kings 8:35 - Heaven is shut up and there’s no rain because man has sinned against God

Genesis 8:2 - the windows of Heaven were closed and the rain was restrained 

Isaiah 24:18 - windows of Heaven open, foundations tremble 

Psalm 78:23 - doors of Heaven 

2 Kings 7:2 - Windows in Heaven 

Malachi 3:10 - God opens the windows of Heaven and pours down blessings on you

Joshua 10:11 - God sends down hailstones from Heaven 

Revelation 11:6 - the 2 witnesses have power to shut the sky so it doesn’t rain

WATER BENEATH EARTH 

 Science says: 

There is nothing but space beneath the globe.

 The deepest hole dug into earth’s surface is 7.6 miles deep where the temperature is 356 °F

 Although 7.6 miles is the deepest we can drill, we have discovered a mass reservoir of water 400 miles beneath the surface of the earth where temperatures range from 4,000 °F to 6,000 °F.

The Bible says: There is water beneath the earth. Fish live there and Sheol is beneath it. 

 Exodus 20:4 - water beneath the earth 

Deuteronomy 5:8 - Heaven above, earth below, water under the earth 

Deuteronomy 4:18 - fish are in the water under the earth 

Job 26:5-6 - the dead are under the waters (Sheol)

WATER ABOVE THE HEAVENS

 Science says: 

The earth is surrounded by endless space. Water can only exist in proper conditions, like within earth’s atmosphere. The highest point water can be is approximately 10-15km above the earth; the Troposphere.

 The Bible says: God separated the water above the heavens from the water below (on the earth).  

Genesis 1:6-7 - God created a firmament that separated the waters above from the waters below

Psa 148:4 - waters above the heavens 

Psalm 104:3 - God, who lays the beams of his upper chambers in the waters above the firmament 

THE EARTH HAS BOUNDARIES & “ENDS”

 Science says: 

The universe is infinite. It has no bounds and will expand forever. There are no “ends” on a sphere. 

 The Bible says: The earth has ends with edges that are raised. God has set boundaries and limits. 

 The Greek word for “ends of the earth”: peras - boundary. 

 The Hebrew word for “ends of the earth”: qāṣâ - border, extremity, outskirts. 

 Deuteronomy 4:32 - “one end of the heavens to the other”

Job 38:14 - the edges of the earth are like the clay under a seal 

 

Psalm 2:8 - ends of the earth 

Psalm 72:8 - sea to sea, ends of the earth

Proverbs 8:29 - God set boundaries for the sea, when He marked out the foundations of the earth 

Job 38:8-11 - the sea is shut in with prescribed limits, the waves have boundaries

Psalm 19:4 - end of the world 

Psalm 19:6 - ends of heavens 

Proverbs 30:4 - “Who has wrapped up the waters in a garment? Who hath established all the ends of the earth?”

Job 28:24 -God looks to the ends of the earth and sees everything under the heavens

STARS FALLING AND GRAVITY

 Science says: 

Gravitational theory says that a star cannot be drawn by the earth because earth has a much smaller mass.

 Mass (humans, nature, literally everything) is confined to earth due to gravity. 

 Stars cannot fall to the earth.

 “Falling stars” are meteors, meteoroids, micrometeoroids, and any other debris which burn up upon entering earth's atmosphere. 

 Meteors (falling stars) are one of many types of cosmic space debris that the earth’s gravity attracts and absorbs.

An estimated 25 million meteoroids (falling stars), micrometeoroids (falling stars) and other space debris enter Earth's atmosphere each day. 

 Science says the closest star is 25.3 TRILLION miles away.

The Bible says: In the last days stars will fall to earth. Some stars are referred to as angelic beings. 

 Science claims that the smallest known stars are still many times larger than the earth, so during the end times when stars are falling to earth, a single star would destroy the earth completely. But the Bible says that one star only fell on ⅓ of the rivers. And people continue living after the stars fall, so the stars can’t be bigger than the earth. 

 Unlike atheists and those among the religion of science, we do not need gravity to prove creation. God doesn’t need gravity - up is up and down is down.

 *The theory of gravity was created to explain presuppositions of space and evolution. Without the theory of gravity, many other scientific “theories” collapse completely. 

 Job 38:31-33 - the Stars/constellations move 

Isaiah 13:10 - Individual lights: stars, sun, & moon

Rev 8:10 - a great star fell on ⅓ of the rivers and springs

Revelation 9:1 - star falling from Heaven, the star is an Angel 

Mark 13:24 - the moon will not give its light, stars will fall from Heaven

Revelation 6:13 - stars falling to earth

Isaiah 34:4 - All the hosts of heaven (stars, sun, moon) fall to earth. So gravity can’t exist. 

LAST DAYS / GOD'S WRATH

 Science says: 

The most probable fate of the planet is absorption by the Sun in about 7.5 billion years, after the star has entered the red giant phase and expanded beyond the planet's current orbit. 

 If the sun went dark, life on earth would be over relatively quickly, the global  temperature would drop to 35 degrees fahrenheit within a week, and all plants would die. 

The Bible says: The pillars will shake and tremble and the earth will “rock”. The sun will go dark, yet people will still live. The Lord will return to execute judgement on earth. This is the only time the Bible describes the earth doing any form of movement. 

 Isaiah 13:10 - sun stops shining, moon will not shine 

Isaiah 24:19 “The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly. The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.”

Jeremiah 49:21 - the earth will tremble 

2 Samuel 22:8 - earth reeled and rocked, foundations of heavens shook and trembled 

Psalm 18:7 - earth reeled and rocked because of the Lord's wrath 

MORE SCRIPTURE THAT CONFLICTS WITH THE GLOBE THEORY

Matthew 4:8 - the devil takes Yahusha/Jesus up to a very high place to show him all the kingdoms of earth. Curvature math would deem this impossible, no matter the height - unless the devil brought Yahusha to multiple places at one time, granted sight which bends around a globe, temporarily flattened the planet, or has the ability to give visions to God. 

 Revelation 1:7 - every eye will see Yahusha/Jesus coming out of the clouds. How does that work on a globe?

 2 Thessalonians 1:7 - Yahusha/Jesus revealed from Heaven coming with his angels 

Revelation 21:1-2 New Jerusalem coming down to earth. We are given the measurements of New Jerusalem, and it does not make any logical sense on a sphere. 

Revelation 21:15- measurements of new Jerusalem: The ESV and NIV versions say it is 12,000 stadia in length and width (Rev. 21:16), a stadia is 607 feet. This calculates to 1,400 miles, which is what the NLT Bible says. KJV and other versions say 12,000 furlongs, which calculates to 1,500 miles. Even more astounding than the size at the base is the HEIGHT that is also at least 1,400 miles (Rev. 21:16).  So New Jerusalem is 1400-1500 miles long, wide, and high - which results in the globe being the foundation for the city as quite infeasible. Why? 

Curvature math says the earth curves 8 inches for every mile. If the city is 1,500 miles wide and long, (giving it a staggering 2,000,000 square miles) that means at each edge of the city, there will be at least 500 feet of separation between the foundation of the city and the ‘planet’ earth. 

New Jerusalem is a solid city with 12 solid foundations made from stones which are not malleable or pliable. If this city descends onto a globe - it will rock, teeter, and tip. 

 And how would it land on a ball that’s rotating at 1,000 mph? Yes, with God all things are possible - but He also gave us brains.

If this city descends onto the earth described in the Bible, it will come down through the firmament after the firmament has been rolled back like a scroll, and settle down gently on the non-rotating face of earth as its level foundation.

Isaiah 34:4 -  the sky will disappear like a rolled up scroll. Think of a retractable roof of a football stadium sliding open. How can endless space and galaxies roll back like a scroll?

This makes complete sense with the firmament and windows of heaven which open and close! 

Revelation 6:14 - The sky vanishes like a scroll rolling up and Heavenly hosts fell down from Heaven. Science says we would all die of oxygen deprivation in less than three minutes. 

CONCLUSION

 Do you still think this is what the Bible describes?

 If this is your first introduction to all this - you’re going to have a lot more questions! Like what about the astronauts? What about all the [CGI] pictures of earth and space? What about satellites? What about eclipses? What about Antarctica? How are they able to keep a lie this big? Why the lie? Trust us, there are ANSWERS! 

At the time of this writing there are a plethora of logically driven, reason-based research materials which lead to the same conclusion as we have outlined here. We have elected to compose this work utilizing primarily Scripture while inserting tidbits of reason and logic where necessary. Our aim in this is to provide a clear and easily understood comparison between two very contradictory viewpoints - encouraging you to analyze the wholeness of what you believe. If you align your belief with God’s Word while at the same time aligning your belief with a contradictory system, have you not become double-minded? (A double minded person is unstable in all their ways. - James 1:8)

Yahusha/Jesus stressed to us the importance of The Holy Spirit as our teacher of truth in John 14:26 - “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.” 

As well as John 16:13 “When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth, for He will not speak on his own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak, and He will declare to you the things that are to come.”

‭John reiterates the teaching he received from his Rabbi and his writing speaks for itself:

1 John 2:20-27 “But you have been anointed by the Holy One, and you all have knowledge. I write to you, not because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and because no lie is of the truth. Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son. No one who denies the Son has the Father. Whoever confesses the Son has the Father also. Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you too will abide in the Son and in the Father. And this is the promise that He made to us — eternal life. I write these things to you about those who are trying to deceive you. But the anointing that you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as His anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie—just as it has taught you, abide in Him.”

How many teachers of space, astronomy, relativity, & even gravitational mechanics accept and proclaim Yahusha/Jesus is Messiah? Yet the doctrine of these teachers has bled into many sermons and schoolbooks throughout the earth. Contextually John is referring to false doctrine in the church - Is this not the very spirit of the antichrist at work in the churches? If I disagree with the foundation of a belief (Big Bang), how can I AGREE with the outcome (globe) of the very foundation I disagree with? Further still, how can I reconcile and attribute counter-beliefs to the Creator to the point of teaching them to others as truth? Is this not false doctrine?

How can I believe the religion of pseudo-science about the globe theory, when the very foundation for the globe theory is a contradiction to Scripture?

 Pseudo-science has failed to provide more than theories, dissertations, hypothetical evidence, and CGI to support the claims of globularity, so how can I believe in heliocentricity? Or gravity? Or evolution? Or so many other things which I am mocked for even questioning? 

Can you truly pick out the globe as the ONE truth they’ve given you, when it clearly defies scripture and logic?
